City tour. During a bus tour around St. Petersburg you will see Isaac's square with majestic St. Isaac's Cathedral, Bronze Horseman statue, Admiralty, the residence of the Russian emperors — the Winter Palace, the Savior on Blood Cathedral, field of Mars. Then the tour leads to the Peter and Paul fortress and Aurora. You will also see the house of Peter I, the Spit of Vasilievsky island, Rostral columns, the Exchange building. Bus sightseeing tour is the most popular way to get to know Saint Petersburg for the first time.

Visit to the Peter and Paul fortress - the site of the Foundation of St. Petersburg.

Visit to legendary cruiser “Aurora”. Travel back in time by stepping on board the memorial ship Aurora, which played an important role in the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. The cruiser Aurora was built between 1897 and 1900 by the "New Admiralty" in St. Petersburg and joined Russia's Baltic fleet in 1903. During the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-05 the cruiser took part in the Battle of Tsusima.

Boat trip along rivers and canals – a fascinating water journey.

Day 2.

Breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 Meeting with guide at the hotel and departure for the program.

10:30 Excursion to the Hermitage Museum - one of the largest art and historical museums in the world. It has a collection of about three million works of art - paintings, drawings, sculptures and applied arts, archaeological finds and numismatic material.

14:00 Visit to Icebreaker Krasin. The powerful icebreaker took part in the rescue operation to save the Italian polar expedition led by Umberto Nobile. During WWII the "Krasin" led Allied convoys, which brought strategic supplies, arms and ammunition to the Soviet Union. After the war the historic icebreaker took an active part in research expeditions in the Polar Ocean and led Soviet cargo convoys through the polar region. Rather than being destroyed to make way for more modern ships, the "Krasin" was preserved and restored to become the museum.

15:30 Visit to C-189 Submarine. Built at St. Petersburg's Baltic Factory and launched in 1954, the C-189 is a 613-class diesel-electric submarine that saw 35 years service in the Soviet fleet. Decommissioned in 1990, the C-189 eventually sank in the harbour at Kronshtadt, but was rescued in 2005 by a local businessman and former submariner, who decided to turn the vessel into a museum. The submarine has been fully restored, and guests are free to wander the length and breadth of the vessel, and to touch whatever they want. Entertaining guided tours are provided by former submariners.
